Very nice. Congratulations. It looks like one of those fine techniques, again!
Thank you Cliff :thanks:
This one is a Cianotype, (I don't know if it's correctly spelled), an alternative technique which consists in mixing some chemiclas to make a solution sensitive to light, then you can applythe solution to a cotton paper or cloth and use an enlarged negative to print the photo by contact, you can use either an special "oven" with ultraviolet lamps or direct sunlight to get the image. The alternative techniques differ among them in the chemical components and give different color results. Cianotype gives a blue hue.

That is so interesting. I love an artist who is so serious, and you notice that I am prone to be serious one day and full of good-time BS the next day. You never know with me. It's all part of keeping the equilibrium going. We can't be in the same old mood all the time.
I'm a real admirer of yours, and I wanted to ask if you have ever made Daguerreotypes using the original process. It sounds like you are ready for such and activity? :thanks:
No, I haven't, and none of the photographers I know has done them, mostly because the process involves highly poisonus chemicals, wouldn't dare that much...

Yes. Mercury vapors, I think. So they have not developed a safe process, then? Even in painting, we have to be careful. When I was painting, I breathed in too much bad stuff, and now I can really tell the difference. Proper ventilation is so important. You should tell that to everyone you know who does any of their art with chemicals.
I never thought art would be so close to chemistry...but every plastic art has its chemical as well as physical risks
